California Quail, Acorn Woodpecker, Red-breasted Sapsucker, Nuttall's Woodpecker, White-headed Woodpecker, Oak Titmouse, Wrentit, California Thrasher, Le Conte's Thrasher, California Towhee, Tricolored Blackbird

Seasonal Birds that can be viewed in the Kern River Watershed

Yellow-billed Cuckoo (mid-June-late August), Hermit Warbler (May-July), Scott's Oriole (May-July), Lawrence's Goldfinch (late March-mid-July)
